DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7 Bridge Pickup

Developed in close collaboration with Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci, the DiMarzio Crunch Lab 7 Bridge Model delivers a powerful, focused voice engineered for high-gain progressive metal. Featured extensively on Dream Theater's tenth studio album, this pickup provides Petrucci's signature bridge tone with exceptional clarity and punch.
The internal architecture produces deep, rich highs alongside open lows and midrange frequencies, allowing complex chords to maintain articulation through heavily saturated amplifiers. With its sharper and stronger pick attack, the pickup yields a tight, defined crunch that avoids becoming either muddy or thin across all seven strings.
Constructed with a ceramic magnet and 4-conductor wiring, the Crunch Lab 7 shares the solid-bar aesthetic of the D Sonic 7 while offering enhanced output and dynamic headroom. It is voiced specifically for bridge-position installation to ensure maximum presence and authority.
