DiMarzio Injector Neck Pickup

Designed in collaboration with virtuoso Paul Gilbert, the DiMarzio Injector Neck pickup delivers a modern, high-performance sound tailored for high-speed technical playing. Built to deliver more warmth and output than a standard vintage single-coil, this pickup tracks aggressive picking and fast solos cleanly without becoming thin or muddy.
Featuring advanced stacked hum-canceling technology, the Injector Neck model eliminates unwanted 60-cycle hum while retaining clear, expressive articulation. It engineered with approximately 40% less magnet-pull than traditional single-coils, allowing enhanced sustain, improved dynamic range, and exceptional response to pick attack.
Equipped with an Alnico 2 magnet and 4-conductor wiring, this pickup offers versatile installation options and balanced tonal response across the frequency spectrum. While optimized for the neck position, it can also be effectively utilized in the middle and bridge positions for a variety of heavier tonal configurations.
