Continuing the legacy of the original 1966 closed machine head, this upgraded version features high-precision CNC-machined components and high-grade brass string posts engineered for maximum stability and wear-free performance.
Equipped with an innovative stepped M6 flanged washer, this tuning machine centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt without requiring a stepped headstock bore. This mechanism effectively eliminates tilting torque while relieving mechanical pressure from both the post and rear mounting screws.
Each closed machine head is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for maintenance-free reliability. The self-locking drive and refined dimensions allow for smooth drop-in replacement on instruments fitted with legacy M6 tuners.
