The closed-housing construction comes permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, rendering it entirely maintenance-free for lifetime reliability.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.4 in (10 mm) base, the unit centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt without requiring a stepped headstock bore. This design eliminates tilting torque and reduces mechanical strain on both the string post and rear mounting screw, while maintaining original mounting dimensions for effortless drop-in replacement.
