Schaller GrandTune Single Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller GrandTune Single combines vintage aesthetics with precise tuning performance and smooth operation. Designed as an open-gear tuner with a worm gear mechanism, it provides an exact 1:18 gear ratio for smooth, accurate tuning. The absence of polymer coatings across contact surfaces allows resonant acoustic coupling with the instrument.
Engineered with permanently locked, sealed screw joints, the mechanism ensures maintenance-free and wear-resistant operation. Counterbored mounting screw holes provide firm seating and optimal resonance transfer to the headstock. Dimensions match standard production instruments to allow seamless installation or retrofitting.
Solid headstock configurations include a press-in hexagonal bushing with an outer diameter of 0.35 in (inner diameter 0.24 in, matching 0.24 in posts) and two mounting screws (M2.2 x 11). Models configured for slotted headstocks mount directly without bushings.
