The Schaller M6 135 guitar tuning machine delivers outstanding precision and tuning comfort with an advanced 1:18 gear ratio. All components are CNC-machined to exact tolerances, high-grade surface finished, and engineered with a self-locking drive for smooth, delicate, and stable instrument tuning. Every string post is constructed from premium brass, seated securely inside the housing to ensure maximum durability and wear-free performance over years of play.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 collar washer with an 0.4 in (10 mm) base diameter, this design centers the string post securely through the banjo bolt and eliminates the need for stepped headstock drilling. This smart mechanism removes tilting torque while relieving mechanical pressure from both the post and the rear mounting screw. Sealed housings are permanently lubricated with proprietary Schaller grease, making the entire assembly completely maintenance-free.
Sharing identical mounting dimensions with its classic predecessor, the M6 135 offers a direct drop-in replacement without headstock modifications. Each complete set includes mounting screws, stepped collar washers, and banjo bolts for immediate installation and rock-solid performance.
