The Schaller M6 180 guitar tuning machine delivers outstanding precision and smooth tuning comfort with an improved 1:18 gear ratio. All components are CNC-machined and surface-finished to ensure uniform, sensitive, and stable operation with a self-locking drive.
Equipped with high-grade brass string posts engineered for maximum tuning stability and wear resistance, these enclosed tuners are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for maintenance-free reliability. The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely without requiring a stepped headstock bore.
Designed for versatile installation, the M6 180 directly replaces legacy M6 tuners without modifications. It provides solid centering and eliminates tilting torque, relieving pressure from both the string post and rear fixing screws.
