The Schaller M6 90 tuning machine features an optimized 1:18 gear ratio for exceptionally precise and smooth tuning control. Built to exact standards, it shares identical mounting dimensions with its predecessor to allow direct, modification-free replacement on compatible headstocks.
Every component is CNC-machined and finished with a self-locking drive mechanism that ensures stable and sensitive tuning performance. Precision-fitted brass string posts provide exceptional durability and tuning stability, while lifetime internal lubrication keeps the closed housing completely maintenance-free.
An innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely through the threaded bushing without requiring stepped headstock drilling. This design eliminates tilting torque, taking unwanted mechanical pressure off both the string post and the rear mounting screw.
