Installation is streamlined with the stepped M6 collar washer, featuring a 0.39 in (10 mm) diameter base that reliably centers the string post without requiring a counterbore in the headstock. This configuration absorbs pressure, eliminates tilting torque, and shares the same mounting footprint as previous M6 generations for seamless replacement.
