The Schaller M6 90 guitar tuning machine delivers outstanding precision and tuning comfort with an upgraded 1:18 gear ratio. Continuing the legacy established by the original sealed M6 in 1966, this modern version incorporates refined design elements and advanced engineering for reliable performance.
All components are CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, surface finished, and paired with a self-locking drive to provide consistent, sensitive, and stable tuning. The high-grade brass string posts are precision-fitted into the housing to ensure optimal tuning stability and virtually wear-free operation over extended use.
An innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely via the hollow screw, eliminating the need for a stepped peghead bore and removing tilt torque from the post and mounting screw. Every sealed unit is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free operation.
