Every enclosed tuner is permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free operation over its lifespan. Premium brass string posts are machined to tight tolerances within the housing, providing maximum tuning stability, wear resistance, and reliable performance.
Installation is streamlined with the stepped M6 collar washer, featuring a 0.39 in (10 mm) base step that centers the string post via the hollow bolt without requiring stepped drilling in the headstock. This integrated design removes tilt torque and relieves mechanical stress on both the string post and rear mounting screws.
