DiMarzio Illuminator Neck Humbucker Pickup
Designed for John Petrucci’s Music Man JP13 guitar, the DiMarzio Illuminator Neck Model represents the next generation in signature pickup performance. Engineered for exceptional versatility, it delivers a dynamic response that transitions effortlessly from tight, aggressive rhythm work to expressive, liquid lead tones with enhanced clarity and presence.
The Illuminator Neck Model offers higher output and greater headroom than a traditional vintage humbucker, utilizing a ceramic magnet and wide-frequency bandwidth. It produces articulate, transparent cleans through pristine amplifiers and rich, defined warmth without low-end muddiness under heavy overdrive.
Equipped with 4-conductor wiring for versatile switching options, this neck-position humbucker is voiced to complement its bridge counterpart while retaining a distinct, articulate musical identity across various playing styles.
