DiMarzio New'Tron Neck Pickup
The DiMarzio New'Tron Neck is a modern interpretation of the classic Filter'Tron-style guitar pickup, designed as a direct size replacement. Engineered to deliver a dynamic top-end response with ideal presence and twang, it avoids harsh treble while maintaining exceptional clarity. The low end remains tight and punchy without getting muddy, ensuring balanced articulation across all playing styles.
Featuring dual coils that cancel unwanted hum when connected in series, the New'Tron produces a distinctive midrange growl and bite. This specialized frequency response makes it exceptionally responsive with digital modeling amplifiers, tube overdrive, and distortion effects. Whether dialing in chiming cleans or aggressive rockabilly tones, it provides refined acoustic-like nuance and reliable performance.
Equipped with an Alnico 5 magnet and 4-conductor wiring, this versatile pickup supports advanced wiring configurations and includes Quick Connect capability. It also comes complete with optional mounting hardware for standard humbucker mounting applications.
