DiMarzio Ultra Jazz Neck Bass Pickup
The hum-canceling Ultra Jazz™ neck pickup takes a traditional Fender Jazz Bass sound and expands its tonal range. It delivers deeper lows, percussive highs, and a round midrange without unwanted mud, allowing harmonic overtones to project clearly.
Engineered for responsive performance, this pickup reacts instantly to both fingerstyle and pick playing techniques. Its hybrid magnetic structure combines Alnico 5 and ceramic elements to provide exceptional dynamic range and frequency response across vintage and modern genres.
Designed as a split-coil hum-canceling unit where each coil senses a pair of strings, it eliminates 60-cycle hum while preserving strong, clear articulation. It fits standard Jazz Bass neck pickup cavities and features 4-conductor wiring for versatile installation options.
