High-grade brass string posts are precision-fitted into the housing to ensure maximum wear resistance and tuning stability.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.39 in (10 mm) base diameter, this design reliably centers the string post without requiring stepped headstock drilling. This construction eliminates tilting torque and relieves mechanical pressure from both the post and mounting screw. Every enclosed unit is permanently lubricated with proprietary Schaller grease for lifelong, maintenance-free performance.
Sharing identical mounting dimensions with its predecessor model, the M6 135 allows direct replacement without instrument modifications. The package includes six banjo bolts, six flanged washers, and six M2.2 x 9.5 mm mounting screws.
