Schaller M6 180 Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller M6 180 guitar tuning machine delivers outstanding precision and smooth tuning performance with its refined 1:18 gear ratio. Continuing the legacy of the original sealed tuner standard introduced in 1966, this upgraded model features CNC-machined components and high-grade brass posts engineered for wear-free durability.
Equipped with an innovative stepped M6 flanged washer, this tuner simplifies installation by reliably centering the string post directly through the banjo bolt without requiring counterbores in the headstock. This precision design effectively eliminates tilting torque and reduces mechanical strain on both the post and rear mounting screws.
Permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free operation, the self-locking drive ensures consistent and exceptionally stable tuning. The compact housing retrofits smoothly into previous M6 footprints without headstock modifications.
