The Schaller M6 180 tuning machine delivers high tuning accuracy and smooth operation with an improved 1:18 gear ratio. All components are CNC-machined and surface-treated, featuring a self-locking drive mechanism that guarantees consistent, fine-tuned, and stable performance.
Crafted from high-grade brass, the posts are precisely fitted into the housing to ensure optimal tuning stability and zero wear. The closed housing comes permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, rendering the unit completely maintenance-free over its entire service life.
An innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely via the banjonut, eliminating the need for a stepped peghead bore. This design effectively prevents tilting torque and reduces mechanical stress on both the string post and rear mounting screw.
