Schaller M6 180 Guitar Tuning Machine
The Schaller M6 180 guitar tuning machine represents an evolution of the industry standard enclosed tuner first introduced in 1966. Engineered with a refined 1:18 gear ratio, it provides exceptionally smooth, sensitive, and precise tuning adjustments while maintaining maximum tuning stability.
Every component is CNC-machined to exacting tolerances and permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for maintenance-free operation. High-grade brass string posts are precisely fitted into the housing, working in tandem with the self-locking drive mechanism to eliminate wear and backlash.
Featuring the innovative stepped M6 flanged washer, this tuner mounts securely while centering the string post directly over the banjo bolt. This intelligent design eliminates tilting torque, relieves stress from both the post and rear mounting screw, and eliminates the need for stepped peghead holes.
