Crafted with premium brass string posts precision-fitted into the housing, this tuning machine provides maximum tuning stability and wear resistance. Closed housings are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease for completely maintenance-free performance.
Equipped with the innovative Schaller stepped flanged washer with a 0.39 in (10 mm) base diameter, it reliably centers the string post without requiring a stepped headstock bore. This design eliminates tilting torque and relieves mechanical stress from both the post and mounting screws.
