Featuring premium brass string posts fitted precisely into the housing, this machine head prevents wear and ensures maximum tuning retention. All closed gear units are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, making them completely maintenance-free over their entire lifespan.
The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer with a 0.39-inch diameter base centers the string post securely via the threaded bushing, eliminating the need for a stepped peghead bore while removing tilt torque and reducing stress on the mounting screw.
