All internal components are permanently lubricated with Schaller special grease, rendering the sealed mechanism completely maintenance-free over its lifespan.
The innovative stepped M6 flanged washer centers the string post securely via the hollow bolt, eliminating the need for a stepped peghead bore. This design eliminates tilting torque and relieves mechanical stress from both the post and the rear mounting screw.
