Designed in collaboration with Steve Vai, the DiMarzio Dark Matter 2 Bridge humbucker provides an organic, modern tone specifically tailored for high-performance electric guitars. Engineered to balance high output with a smooth top end, it delivers rich harmonics without harsh highs.
This pickup features a distinct custom laser-cut decorative grill with interlocking gear designs, offering striking visual aesthetics alongside premium sonic fidelity. It provides excellent articulation across dynamic ranges, performing cleanly on pristine settings and maintaining clarity under heavy distortion.
Crafted exclusively in F-spacing, the Dark Matter 2 Bridge integrates a ceramic magnet and 4-conductor wiring to support versatile coil-splitting configurations and reliable installation.
