DiMarzio PAF 59 Bridge Pickup
Utilizing Larry DiMarzio's 1959 Cherry Sunburst Les Paul® as a reference, the DiMarzio PAF® 59 Bridge humbucker delivers the legendary sound, open dynamics, and creamy response of classic late-fifties pickups. Built with period-correct materials and decades of winding expertise, it faithfully reproduces vintage character and voice.
The PAF® 59 Bridge is crafted using scatter-wound, un-dipped 42 AWG plain enamel wire and a 2.5-inch degaussed Alnico 5 magnet. It features vintage-correct butyrate bobbins installed on a traditional long-leg nickel-silver baseplate, capturing natural acoustic nuances without unwanted coloration.
Engineered with ideal harmonic range, smooth midrange, and rich low end, this bridge pickup incorporates a subtle top-end roll-off to sweeten high frequencies. Manufactured in the USA, it provides authentic vintage output and responsive dynamic expression.
