DiMarzio The Black Angel Piezo Acoustic Pickup

The Black Angel Piezo (DP235) is a stand-alone acoustic guitar pickup that captures pure, natural acoustic tone. It delivers transparent string clarity while faithfully preserving the percussive resonance of the instrument body. Utilizing advanced stratifying technology, the piezo elements are stacked between layers of maple to evenly disperse vibrational energy across the sensor array without requiring onboard batteries, preamps, or digital modeling.
Designed for internal bridge plate mounting, the pickup installs easily using the included quick alignment bracket and can be adhered with hide glue, super glue, or standard woodworking adhesives. Its passive architecture ensures organic sound capture while keeping the internal guitar cavity clean and battery-free.
The pickup includes a Switchcraft stereo endpin jack and auxiliary cable, allowing straightforward integration alongside magnetic soundhole pickups such as The Black Angel DP234. Combining the body-sensing ambience of the piezo with a magnetic pickup provides expansive acoustic depth and harmonic richness for live performance.
